Edgewater at Hidden Bay Names General Contractor
The general contractor has been named for Edgewater at Hidden Bay, a new bayfront condominium community located in Osprey, midway between Sarasota and Venice.
EnviroStruct, LLC, is a licensed general building contractor with more than 35 years experience in the residential and commercial construction industry. Principals Neil Simon and Stephen McKenna Jr. founded the Bonita Springs-based company in 2011.
EnviroStruct has been involved with a number of projects throughout Southwest Florida including Audi of Fort Myers, Summerlin Nissan of Fort Myers, the Pelican Sound River Club expansion project in Estero, and the multi-family community of Greenwood Villas in South Fort Myers.
The company also won a Pinnacle award from the Lee Building Industry Association for its renovation of the Sandcastle Beach Club on Fort Myers Beach.
One of the reasons EnviroStruct was selected as the general contractor for Edgewater at Hidden Bay was due to the firm’s commitment and sensitivity to environmental issues.
Edgewater is being developed on the remaining bayfront sites in Hidden Bay, a gated, 14-acre condominium enclave located on Little Sarasota Bay. All new residences offer bay views.
The final three bayfront buildings will have a total of 52 condominiums. Two open-concept floor plans are available with prices starting in the $500s.

Edgewater at Hidden Bay’s bayfront location plays an essential role in the community’s overall lifestyle. Residents can stroll down a boardwalk to a private fishing pier that extends out into the bay or launch a kayak and paddle the picturesque shoreline of Little Sarasota Bay. For boating enthusiasts, a full marina is located just minutes away.
The recreational and social centerpiece of the community is the newly remodeled lakefront clubhouse. The interior includes a grand salon, catering kitchen with long breakfast bar and rich, dark wood cabinetry, a card room and a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment.
Outside the clubhouse is the heated pool and spa surrounded by a spacious brick-paver deck, a tennis court, three pickleball courts, a barbecue area and a tiki bar with bamboo accents under an authentic thatch roof.
From the clubhouse area a short boardwalk also extends out in two directions with one circling a small grove of native trees seemingly springing from the middle of the lake.
The sales center is utilizing a portion of the community’s newly remodeled clubhouse. It is located at 249 Hidden Bay Drive and is open Monday – Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
